Since you're headed to the beach...you'll want to remember:

Organize the care of your pets if you aren't bringing them

Local maps (we can help)

Reservation information

Service your car (if necessary)

Any medications or other special needs

Camera (charge an extra battery and clear the memory for lots of pics!)

Cell phone charger

Laptop and any necessary accessories

Call for delivery of groceries at your vacation rental home before you arrive

Check the schedule of events

Check the weather forecast for proper attire (we occasionally get liquid sunshine!)

Notify any family or friends in the area that you may hope to visit

Have someone you trust check on your home while you're gone

Notify newspaper and mail for temporary changes in delivery

Consider any services you might like to retain when you arrive (bike rentals or auto detailing, etc., just call for any information)

Check over golf clubs, fishing equipment, scuba gear or anything else you might bring (need a charter?)

Toiletries for everyone in your party

sunglasses and beach towels

lotion and sunscreen

binoculars and/or telescope (moonless nights over the Gulf are an incredible show)
