Q:
Are all www.30A-BeachRentals.com properties privately owned?
All www.30A-BeachRentals.com
homes & condos are privately owned. We ask that you treat these homes
and vacation condos as you would want guests to treat your property.
Q: Where
and when do we check in?
After receiving
your final payment, we will contact you personally to discuss final preparations
for your arrival. A map to your beach house or vacation condo will be
sent to you by whatever method you choose.
Escape...to 30A will
provide personal check in service to familiarize you with the amenities
of your Beach Rental Home. Once in your property, you will find some information
you may need to know about golf, tennis, dining, shopping and other activities
or events available in the area. Check-in is usually 4:00 PM and Check-out
is at 10:00 AM. If no one is checking out the day you are checking in,
there may be some flexibility. Likewise, on the day you are leaving.
Q: Do I need
to make a deposit?
Booking of
reservations requires a pre-payment of 50% of the total rental rate, and
non-refundable pet fee (if applicable) to reserve the unit. The remaining
50% of the total rental rate is due on or before 30 days of arrival. Rental
fees may be paid with Master Card, Visa, Discover, or American Express,
cash, personal check, business check, cashier’s check, traveler's
check or money order.
Q: What
if I change my mind?
All monies
collected are fully refundable less a $30.00 cancellation processing fee
and a non-refundable $50.00 reservation fee (if applicable) upon receipt
of a written notice of cancellation more than 30 days of scheduled check-in.
No refunds will be issued if requested 30 days or less before scheduled
check-in, as re-renting the home is much more difficult.
Q: What about
pets?
We
do have several pet-friendly properties. There is a $150 non-refundable
pet fee for additional cleaning. Remember, Florida is a tropical climate
where bugs prosper. Keep your pet well cared for regarding fleas, ticks
etc. A flea treatment prior to arrival and post vacation is suggested.
We also have non-pet-friendly properties, as well. For these we suggest
you give your pet a vacation, too!
Often times a property is designated 'no pets' in recognition of some
guests potential allergic reactions to any lingering pet hair. Any
pets on the premises of non-pet friendly properties at any time
will be in violation of our pet policy and guests will be asked to vacate
the premises immediately and will forfeit all monies paid.
Q: Are there
any other charges?
Yes, there
are other charges. 1) Florida sales & tourism tax which is currently
at 11%. Cleaning Rates are property specific depending on your length
of stay. Five or more days, cleaning will be paid by the home owner, and
includes a departure cleaning only. 2) Extra beds or mattresses could
include additional fees. 3) Additional maid service is available (charges
vary based on size of unit). Rates and activities are subject to change
without notice. Your quotation is normally good for 24 hours, and normally
includes all the fees above. 4) Any concierge services you may choose
also are additional depending on the service.
Q: Is there
a security deposit?
Yes,
Escape...to 30A requires a Security
deposit equal to 15% of the weekly rental rate of your reserved property,
credit card number to be on file in the event of damages, missing items,
excessive utilities or excessive house-keeping upon departure, etc. Your
credit card will not be charged unless one of these has occurred.
Q: Which
housekeeping services are available?
We expect
you to return your home in the same condition as you received it, except
the cleaning service will do the laundry and a full cleaning upon your
departure. Additional housekeeping services for your stay can be arranged
in advance by contacting our customer service department.
Q: Which
bedding configuration should we expect?
Each of these
Florida Panhandle Homes are privately owned and furnished. Most units
however have a King or Queen bed in the master suite. The other bedrooms
are generally outfitted with a queen, twin or bunk beds.
Q: Are individual
washer and dryers available?
Yes, many
units are equipped with their own washer and dryer for the convenience
of guests. The beachfront lifestyle and all the comforts of home make
this a vacation spot to come back to again and again.
Q:
What beaches are nearby?
All www.30A-Beachrentals.com homes &
condos are either on the beach or within a minutes' walk of the sugar-sand
that the South Walton County is known for. Rosemary Beach, Seacrest Beach
and Alys Beach are all right here. During peak season some have shuttles
that run every half hour, if you prefer.
Q: What weather
conditions can we expect?
The Emerald Coast of Florida is universally known
as enjoying some of the best weather in the world - regardless of the
season. It is important to consider a variety of outer wear and other
clothing to allow you, and those traveling with you, to dress appropriately
for weather conditions. Before leaving on your vacation please check out
